Homogeneización de series de velocidad del viento mensuales en las estaciones meteorológicas del INAMHI en Loja, Ecuador.

This work aims at obtaining a method to homogenize series of wind speed, in the meteorological stations of the National Meteorological and Hidrological Institute (INAMHI) in the Loja Province, Ecuador Republic. Homogenization tests applied include non-parametric and the Alexandersson test (SNHT). Multiple Regression Analysis is used to determine the problematic values from the absolute values of the Student residuals bigger than 3 and to calculate the their replacements. Results are shown for the January series. We conclude that this methodology has yielded good results, and give recommendations for their utilization.
